This reel showcases selected projects I’ve edited, with a particular focus on action and suspense. Rather than a traditional showreel built from individual shots, I structured it around complete editing sequences — preserving the setup, development, and payoff of scenes to demonstrate how I work with pacing, performance, tension, and action within a narrative film.
I fell in love with editing in 1987, when I was seventeen. Armed with two home VHS decks, I made a music video for my favorite band, Iron Maiden, cutting together fragments from different action movies.
A few years later, I spent time in documentary editing rooms and began cutting my own early work, first with videotape and later with the earliest versions of Adobe Premiere.
Eventually, my path took me into screenwriting and directing. But editing remained my first love in filmmaking, which is why I continued editing my own films — not because I was reluctant to hand them over to someone else, but simply because I loved doing it.
I’m open to conversations with directors and producers about upcoming feature projects.
I bring more than an editor's perspective into the editing room: the editor’s instinct for rhythm and performance, the writer’s understanding of story, and the director’s understanding of what a scene is trying to become.
My editing credits today include 8 feature films, along with countless reels and trailers.
While I can work across genres, I’m particularly drawn to action, thriller, and suspense features, where I can fully apply my strongest skills — pacing, performance, tension, and visual storytelling.
I’m currently editing the sci-fi thriller NEVO, featured in the teaser below. The edit is expected to be completed in November, and I’ll be available for a new feature film project starting in December 2026.
